In an attempt to strip away all the superfluous quazi-artistic stuff from clocks and give us pure unadulterated basics The Wrong Objects, working out the concept of the Front & Back Clock, came up with a clear white disk.

It certainly looks fine, but what about telling the time? And, by the way, since it’s so old-fashioned that it is powered by AA batteries, where do we make the battery compartment? The Wrong Objects put two and two together, making two clock hands out of two batteries. By choosing the battery brand you can change the color palette of your new clock. If it will make it into production. For the time being it was only displayed at the 2010 DMY International Design Festival in Berlin

Looking for gadgets to take better care of your home audio sound? Bang & Olufsen will soon be here with a new word in subwoofers.

Called BeoLab 11, it is expected to hit North America within the next month. Very different from the too-well-known square box tucked away in some nook, the BeoLab 11 comes in two stylish speakers with 6.5-inch drivers which are to face one another providing an acoustic balance. It takes off much of the vibration, that allows their placing practically anywhere in the room, and not only on the floor.

According to the company’s information, BeoLab 11 guarantees an altogether richer sound due to the fact that it takes over the reproduction of all the low frequencies, leaving the smaller loudspeakers to deal with only upper bass, midrange and treble.

The new subwoofer will retail at $2,000.

Or rather five conveniences, according to the company’s advertisement campaign.

Jaybird assures you that its Jaybird SB1 Sportsband Bluetooth Headphones are adjustable in four different ways; sport a simple stylish design; show good voice quality on calls; bass comes out fine and – last but not the least when the weather turns warm – give a standing warranty against sweat damage and discoloration. Sounds fairly impressive for outdoor call fiends!
